Second Round: Fitted Tops and More Bottom Shapes

The second August 2025 Pre-Fall cover collects nine outfits around fitted tops and a wider choice of lower layers. Brown and charcoal tops sit beside pale gray ones. Blue jeans, white trousers, a short gray skirt, a longer reddish-brown skirt and black-and-white patterned trousers give each combination a different outline.

This page presents the existing cover grid for the second-round archive. It shows the nine outfits together; individual campaign photographs are not included in this surviving presentation.

A Longer Cardigan Changes the Waist

The top-left outfit uses a long, open cardigan over jeans; the outfit beside it uses a fitted brown top without that outer layer. Compare where each hem falls. The open cardigan covers more of the hips and adds vertical edges, while the shorter top leaves the trouser waist more visible.

A similar distinction appears in the center row. A pale short cardigan is worn with a short skirt, while a darker long cardigan is paired with flared jeans. You can try either arrangement with an existing skirt or jeans before deciding whether another layer is necessary.

Change the Bottom, Keep the Top Simple

The lower row includes a fitted gray top with a longer reddish-brown skirt and a dark top with strongly patterned trousers. The first changes the hem and movement of the outfit; the second puts most of the pattern below the waist. Both keep the upper layer relatively uncomplicated.

When borrowing a combination, check the neckline and sleeve coverage as well as the full-length mirror view. Some tops in the cover leave a shoulder or a deeper neckline exposed. Choose the version that fits the place you will wear it, and judge the skirt or trouser length with your actual shoes.

The second-round preview remains an August 2025 archive, with no claim that every item or color is still sold.

If a fitted top or open cardigan is the part you want to repeat, compare current sweaters and cardigans and read the listed garment length and fit.
